Makers and entrepreneurs gathered in Bentonville for the first Northwest Arkansas Startup Weekend: Maker Edition. The 54-hour event was held at Harrison French and Associates Design Lab, a creative space that provides access to tools where ideators can rapidly prototype, fabricate, and bring ideas to life. Mentors from the community will be present throughout Saturday and Sunday to help competitors refine business models, architect their products, and to share general insights and experience.
