ROLLING WITH ELECTRICITY
Ashley Sayers with the Rogers Historical Museum rolls a can on Tuesday Feb. 20 2024 with static electricity she created on a plastic tube. Her demonstration was part of a Museum and Me program on electricity at the museum. Youngsters and adults did science experiments about electricity, heard an "electrifying" story during story time and learned how electricity is produced at the Beaver Lake dam. Museum and Me is a monthly program for children ages 3-5 and parents or guardians. Registration is required. The next program on March 12 is about Arkansas' state bird, the mockingbird.
