John Weston fills a trailer with firewood Tuesday Feb. 28 2017 while splitting hardwood logs along Old Wire Road near Avoca. Weston sells firewood and said sales have been "up and down" this winter, depending on the weather. Demand is highest when the weather turns cold after a warm spell, he said.
