Ryan Love (bottom), a Sunshine School and Development Center adult client from Rogers, and Nicky Dou of Bentonville rappel wearing superhero outfits Saturday, March 11, 2017, during the Sunshine School & Development Center's rappelling fundraiser with Over The Edge at the 8W Center in Bentonville. The school began a campaign in January, with participants who reached their fundraising goal able to participate in rappelling from the roof of the 6-story building. Over the Edge is a company which specializes in producing events for non profits using equipment and techniques used in commercial rope-access work such as sign installation and window washing. The event had raised more than $57,000 for the school, with more donations still coming in Saturday morning. Located in Rogers, the Sunshine School & Development Center serves children and adults with developmental dissabilities, including a preschool.
