Sue Robison, a volunteer at the Fort Smith Museum of History, looks for a seat, Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, in a mock trial of the Big Bad Wolf in honor of Judge Isaac C. Parker’s 184th birthday and Oktoberfest at the museum in downtown Fort Smith. The family-friendly event featured FSMH volunteers helping child and adult actors read from a script in the roles of the Big Bad Wolf and his defense attorney, a prosecutor for the Three Little Pigs, a judge and “witnesses,” the Three Blind Mice. The only unscripted parts were the jurors, who on this day found the defendant, who claimed to be battling allergies on the day he blew down two of the pigs’ three houses, not guilty.
