Principal Shannon Passmore hugs first grader Ruston Barnes, Friday, May 13, 2022 at Lowell Elementary School in Lowell. Fourth-graders at Lowell Elementary have developed their own business plans and will now sell their products at their May Maker's Market. With the help of fundraisers and donations to provide all of their supplies, students have made a variety of items including sugar scrub, crocheted purses and stress balls. Overall, there will be 32 businesses in operation. Lowell students at every grade level had the opportunity to earn "Brave Bucks" for being brave, kind and following directions. They will use the "bucks" to purchase the handmade items at the market. Check out nwaonline.com/220514Daily/ and nwadg.com/photos for a photo gallery.
